World Impact Rankings 2020: Life below water

This table on SDG 14 – life below water measures universities’ research on life below water and their education on and support for aquatic ecosystems.

The list includes 242 universities from 58 countries.

The list is led by Canada’s University of British Columbia, while New Zealand’s University of Auckland and the US’ Arizona State University (Tempe) complete the top three.

Japan is the most-represented nation in the table with 34 institutions, followed by Russia and the UK with 13 each.
