Impact Rankings 2020 by SDG: reduced inequalities

The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings are the only global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We use carefully calibrated indicators to provide comprehensive and balanced comparisons across three broad areas: research, outreach and stewardship.

This table on SDG 10 – reduced inequalities measures universities’ research on social inequalities, their policies on discrimination and their commitment to recruiting staff and students from under-represented groups.

The list includes 458 universities from 74 countries.

The list is led by Australia’s RMIT University, while the UK’s University of East London and Australia’s Western Sydney University complete the top three.

Japan is the most-represented nation in the table with 43 institutions, followed by Russia and Turkey with 26 each.
