The Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings are the only global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We use carefully calibrated indicators to provide comprehensive and balanced comparisons across three broad areas: research, outreach, and stewardship.
This table on SDG 12 – responsible consumption and production measures universities’ research on responsible consumption and their approach to the sustainable use of resources.
The list includes more than 200 universities from 56 countries.
The metrics were developed in partnership with Vertigo Ventures.
The list is led by the Republic of Ireland’s University College Cork, while the UK’s Newcastle University and University of Dundee complete the top three.
Japan is the most-represented nation in the table with 24 institutions, followed by the UK with 18 and Russia with 17.
