This table on SDG 3: good health and well-being measures universities’ research on key diseases and conditions, their support for healthcare professions and the health of students and staff.
The list includes more than 420 universities from 74 countries.
The list is led by New Zealand’s University of Auckland, while Canada’s McMaster University and the University of Montreal complete the top three.
Japan is the most-represented nation in the table with 40 institutions, followed by the US and Russia with 29 each.
The Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings are the only global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We use carefully calibrated indicators to provide comprehensive and balanced comparisons across three broad areas: research, outreach, and stewardship.
The metrics were developed in partnership with Vertigo Ventures.
