In October 2021, The Office for Students (OfS) sent a strong message to UK universities that written English standards should be fundamental to assessment marking criteria.

The University of Pécs won this year's European Association for International Educators (EAIE) Award for Excellence in Internationalisation for its online short-term virtual mobility programmes.
