THE is looking for a proactive Data Editor with a professional manner to support the lead analysts across a number of projects.

We are seeking a journalist with at least two years’ experience writing for a respected news outlet, who can demonstrate a strong track record in writing news stories and in-depth interviews. They will have experience in data journalism and be able to find angles in spreadsheets and turn them into news stories and longer analysis pieces. They’ll also be comfortable interviewing senior university leaders be adept at representing THE among university staff and the wider higher education community. Prior experience covering education or research would be an advantage but is not essential.

Are you a passionate and driven Product Manager, who can help us build and deliver our data and analytics products? Do you enjoy working as part of a cross-functional team to deliver best in class user experiences and solutions, that create real value for customers? This is a pivotal role for us; we need your skills and experience to realise the product vision, strategy and roadmap for a revenue generating data platform, which provides insights for universities globally. We are based in London and our team works in a hybrid style between home and office. We work in cross-functional squads and the product team is split into data and digital product areas.

You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to provide UX/UI expertise and new perspectives specifically for our student users, as well as higher education professionals worldwide. You should apply exceptional User Experience and User Interface design skills, user-centred design principals, as well as agile product development process. You also need to be highly self-sufficient in seeking opportunities for innovation. You have a persistence for consistency, colour, typography, accessibility and a sensitive eye for subtle yet elegant details. You also have extended experience in working with analytics. Generate insights that shape how product teams think about medium and long-term product strategy.
