More than £1 million is being invested by Oxford Brookes University to boost its research into key environmental issues. The Intelligent Transport Systems doctoral training programme will explore areas such as zero emission propulsion and passenger safety. The Urban Futures programme will tackle the growth of cities and their interaction with the environment. The funding will support the programmes for three years.
