The Coventry Low Carbon Fleet Partnership has been chosen to trial "green" vans as part of the Department for Transport's Low Carbon Vehicle Procurement Programme. The partnership, involving the University of Warwick, Coventry City Council and Coventry University, will begin ordering the eco-friendly vans at the end of next month. The programme will give participants grants to buy or lease low-carbon or all-electric vans to add to their fleets.
