University of Bristol - Deaf studies masters on offer

The world's first masters degree in deafhood studies has been launched by the University of Bristol. The MSc, run by the university's Centre for Deaf Studies (CDS), will focus on deafhood theory - the theory of deaf communities' languages, cultures, arts and social structures. "The MSc programme welcomes both deaf and hearing people from around the world," said senior lecturer Paddy Ladd.
