World University Rankings by Subject 2022: Engineering
The engineering subject table uses the same rigorous performance indicators as the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022, but the methodology has been recalibrated to suit the individual fields.
It highlights the universities that are leading across the following disciplines: general engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, mechanical and aerospace engineering, civil engineering and chemical engineering.

The US is now home to all of the top four universities for engineering, with Harvard University topping the ranking for the second year.
The National University of Singapore features in the top 10 for the first time since 2019, climbing two places to 10th.
