Founded in 2011 by Dr. Peterchris Okpala, Charisma University is a Turks and Caicos Islands higher institution approved by the Turks and Caicos Islands Ministry of Education. It is situated in the Grace Bay area, located on the northeast coast of the island of Providenciales. At Charisma University, students can gain undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate degrees within a wide variety of faculties, including: business, education, law, philosophy and religion, psychology and behavioural science and health science. Within these faculties, there are over 40 degree programmes and other specialisms for students to choose from. Charisma University has a commitment to adult learners too. The degrees on offer can be structured to allow students the flexibility to schedule their coursework around other responsibilities like jobs or childcare. To gain admission to Charisma University, there’s an English proficiency requirement. For applicants whose native language is not English, students must take a Test of English as a Foreign Language, and receive a minimum score. The university also has partnerships with other universities worldwide offering students the chance to spend a year studying abroad. These partnerships with universities worldwide have also paved the way for faculty exchange and advanced research opportunities.

About the role King’s College London’s Simulation and Interactive Learning Centre is seeking a Simulation Education Specialist to support the delivery of high-quality, clinically relevant simulation-based education across the Health Faculties. This professional services role acts as a key link between the centre and academic colleagues, helping to translate curricular and clinical requirements into practical, well-designed learning activities that meet recognised standards of simulation practice. You will play a central role in planning, coordinating, and delivering simulation sessions that are educationally sound, operationally feasible, and provide meaningful learning outcomes for students and staff. The post holder will develop, maintain, and manage centre-specific educational resources, documents, and repositories, including exploring opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and resource tracking. By capturing the educational demand from faculties, you will help inform service planning, centre resource development, and potential research initiatives, contributing to the continuous enhancement of simulation-based education across King’s Health Faculties. You will provide guidance on best practice in simulation pedagogy, support faculty colleagues in session design, and ensure all activities comply with quality assurance processes and clinical standards. The successful candidate will have experience in delivering or supporting simulation-based or interactive learning in healthcare or higher education and a strong understanding of clinical practice. You will demonstrate excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills, and be able to make decisions independently while balancing operational constraints and educational objectives. Effective communication and collaboration are essential, as you will work with academic staff, clinical educators, technical teams, and students to ensure smooth delivery and meaningful outcomes. Attention to detail, flexibility, and a commitment to continuous improvement are key to success in this role. The African Genome Center (AGC) is seeking to appoint an open-rank faculty member specializing in Population Genomics. This position focuses on investigating genetic variation within and among populations to understand genetic diversity, evolutionary processes, and population dynamics that shape the genomic composition of species. Applicants should demonstrate strong expertise in analyzing population-level genomic data, enabling insights into the distribution and frequency of genetic variation, as well as the ecological, evolutionary, and demographic factors influencing population structure. The successful candidate is expected to have an outstanding publication record in population genomics or closely related fields. In addition, candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach to developing an independent research program, strong collaborative skills, and evidence of interdisciplinary research engagement. This position is embedded within a highly interdisciplinary research environment and offers opportunities to interact with researchers across diverse domains, including genome editing, natural product chemistry, microbial engineering, agricultural and environmental biotechnology, metabolic engineering, and microbiology, among others. Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate include: Supervising graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in population genomics, molecular genetics, and evolutionary biology. Job Purpose The Professional Officers Division (POD) houses two Innovation Centres – Rapid Product Innovation and Development (RaPID) Centre and SIT-Poly Innovation Centre of Excellence (SPICE) Centre.
