Adjunct instructors work with students to provide them with the knowledge and training they need to be successful in their chosen career.Adjunct faculty members may teach one or more courses each semester based on availability and student need. These courses may meet during the day, evening, or online, based on the adjunct faculty's availability, expertise, and program/student need. We encourage potential adjunct faculty to submit application materials at any time, though availability of positions and/or specific teaching assignments is contingent on program need. Any teaching agreements will be made on an as needed, term-by-term basis. Responsibilities Teach specific classes in the Finance field in a professional and engaging way that creates an environment where students feel comfortable participating and learning.Review course syllabi and instructional materials to maintain currency and improve the courses offered to students as they seek their chosen degree.Assess student progress regularly and assign grades in a timely manner; measure student potential and achievement in concrete, understandable ways to ultimately help the student progress toward a degree.Maintain appropriate records in an organized, efficient manner for every class taught, and have this information accessible by students.Complete assessments based on university and accreditation requirements.Submit end of semester course grades to the University by the published deadlines.Communicate regularly and frequently and respond promptly to questions and concerns from students and department chair. Required Qualifications An earned graduate degree from an accredited university in Finance or another field closely connected to Finance to teach at the undergraduate level. A sufficient combination of experience, certifications, and education may also be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.A terminal degree from an accredited university in Finance or another field closely connected to Finance to teach at the graduate level. Professional experience in teaching area within the last 5 years.Flexible schedule, demonstrated ability to teach, demonstrated ability to adapt to new technology. Job Purpose The Professional Officers Division (POD) houses a centralized pool of academic staff under the Professional Officers scheme. Professional Officers come with specialised and deep technical skills acquired through extensive industry experience. They form the talent pool which brings a much-needed industry perspective to student learning. They facilitate applied learning and applied research in SIT, complementing the academic expertise of the faculty to bring industry practices and applications into the curriculum. Professional Officers leverage on their industry experiences to create authentic learning environments, where discovery and innovation take place. They act as coaches and mentors to students during practical learning activities such as laboratory sessions, Capstone Projects and the Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP). Professional Officers could also lead or work with faculty on industry innovation projects to provide solutions to the industry. In addition to their role in applied learning and applied research, Professional Officers manage the centralised laboratory facilities and resources in SIT. With Technical Officers, laboratory safety professionals, and administrators in POD, they jointly develop central policies and processes for the safe and seamless operation of laboratories in SIT. Key Responsibilities Design and teach labs & practice modules. Mentor students in Capstone Projects and the Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP). Lead or co-lead innovation projects with industry. Manage labs and equipment to support academic programmes and applied research. Ensure safety in labs Job Requirements A good degree in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Masters, PhD and/or relevant professional certifications like registered PE/CEng would be advantageous. Deep technical specialist with 10 or more years of working experience with mechanical systems in Building services environments or facility design consultancy would be preferred. Experience in following areas is highly desirable: Both design and management of mechanical building systems. Use of BIM software for design and engineering works and develop BIM models as well as knowledge in using CAD software such as REVIT, AutoDesk and ArchiCAD. Have working knowledge of building services systems such as Heat Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, lift, heat exchangers, micro-climate, simulations, fire-testing and acoustic experiments Have prior working experience in building and facility management Having experience with materials and materials property as well as materials testing, and fire testing is advantageous. Extensive experience and knowledge of industry practices to bring industry perspective to SIT as well as experience with Green Marking and energy management is advantageous. Keen interest in innovation projects, with demonstrated ability in developing solutions to technical problems. Strong supervisory skills and enjoy working closely with students in an educational environment. Demonstrate proficiency to keep abreast of development in the field and pursue professional certification programs. Possess industrial certifications in relevant areas will be an added advantage.

JOB SUMMARY ASARI is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher holding a PhD in Zootechny, Animal Nutrition or Pastoralism to join its Animal Sciences team and contribute to the development and implementation of research projects focusing on small ruminants (particularly goats) and large livestock species (camels). The successful candidate will be involved in conducting applied and fundamental research, preparing competitive research proposals, and authoring technical reports and peer-reviewed scientific publications addressing key challenges in agricultural and livestock production systems. This position will involve research activities in animal production, including animal nutrition, forage crop valorization, feed and diet formulation, and rangeland management. Where appropriate, the candidate will design and conduct field surveys, collect and analyze data, and engage directly with farming communities. The postdoctoral researcher is expected to actively contribute to ongoing projects at UM6P Laayoune within the African Sustainable Agriculture Research Institute (ASARI). Fieldwork will be an integral component of the position, with particular emphasis on working with farmers, to ensure that research outputs have practical and socioeconomic impacts.
