About the area The School of Human Sciences is a large multi-disciplinary entity with research and teaching focused on better understanding of what it is to be human, our structure, function, development, genetics, adaptation, performance, and evolution. About the opportunity Deliver high-quality teaching and clinical training in Audiology, contributing to the design, coordination and assessment of postgraduate units within the Master of Clinical Audiology, and supervising student research projects. Build an active research profile in Audiology, undertaking independent and collaborative research, publishing in high-impact journals, supervising HDR students, and enhancing the School’s national and international reputation. Engage with the profession and broader community, contributing to program development, governance and service activities, partnering with external clinical and industry stakeholders, and advocating for hearing health practice and policy. About you Master of Clinical Audiology degree (or equivalent). PhD in an academic field relevant to discipline. Be eligible for full membership with Audiology Australia and its Certificate of Clinical Practice. Capacity to teach clinical audiology, and demonstrate the ability to deliver high quality teaching, as well as knowledge of a variety of teaching and assessment methods. Evidence of research in Audiology such as grant, awards and/or publications in peer reviewed scientific journals. Demonstrate evidence of successful supervision or co-supervision or mentoring of HDR, Honours and research students. Demonstrated ability to relate well to staff and students at all levels, and evidence of a commitment to equity and diversity principles.
