Duties and Responsibilities Work with the Stroke Research and Prevention Group of HKU (stroke.hku.hk) to assist in neuroimaging data acquisition and analysis, write-up of the results, as well as training of students Apply image analysis skills on clinical and research MRI techniques and sequences to study patients with stroke and dementia, or at risk of these conditions, in large cohort studies as well as randomized controlled trials Perform other duties as assigned Requirements A Ph.D. degree in Neuroimaging, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or other related disciplines, with experience or keen interest in processing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), such as arterial spin labeling and diffusion tractography using programming scripts, such as Python and C++ Self-driven, motivated, and creative in designing image analysis pipeline according to project requirements A good communication skills with a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese Able to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team Experience in image analysis packages such as Freesurfer, FSL, SPM, or 3DSlicer, or using machine learning or artificial intelligence models would be advantageous What We Offer The appointee would be exposed to ample opportunities in developing an academic career. Faculty Openings in the Accountancy Programme The Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Accountancy was one of the first three programmes conferred by SIT. The programme is accredited by Singapore’s national accountancy body, the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), as well as several leading global accountancy professional bodies, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Uniquely, the programme is also recognised under the University Affiliation Programme by the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute. This three-year direct honours degree was developed through extensive consultations with industry leaders and accreditation bodies. Learners may choose to specialise in one of five accountancy domains: Applied Finance, Audit, Corporate Accounting, Management Accounting, and Taxation.
