The role The International Student Recruitment team at the University of Surrey is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join as the International Officer for the Asia-Pacific region. This role focuses on increasing applications and enrolments from international students in this dynamic region. As the International Officer, you will support the development and implementation of a strategic plan to boost applications and enrolments from the Asia-Pacific. Key responsibilities include building relationships with international schools, managing a network of recruitment agents, attending recruitment events, and organising on-campus activities. About you We are seeking an experienced professional with a background in international student recruitment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing overseas recruitment and a comprehensive understanding of the international recruitment sector, both from a commercial and cultural perspective. You will be confident in delivering presentations, managing complex projects, and organising events, with a strong proficiency in IT skills. International travel will be a key component of this role, so applicants must hold a valid passport and be willing to travel up to 12 weeks per year.
