Initiative Grants serve as a mechanism for providing the funds needed to swiftly investigate a novel idea with relatively little preliminary data. The purpose of the programme is to provide funding for time-sensitive projects that warrant immediate study, providing funding for new and innovative research that might not be funded through ordinary avenues. Initiative Grants are available in the amount of up to $100,000 for one year only.
