The Bennett Senior Fellowship Scheme aims to promote the ideal that close integration of clinical and laboratory based research is essential to advance medical knowledge and devise new treatments.
The award is specifically designed to allow outstanding young UK based clinical and non-clinical scientists to progress to independent investigator status. The fellowship will be tenable for five years in any appropriate UK laboratory and provides personal support together with funding for a research assistant and consumables.
