The Health Research Board in Ireland is now providing research project grants. The purpose of these grants is to facilitate the development of health services research by providing support projects and pilot studies which might lead to larger research proposals. These proposals will have a commitment to matching funds from a health board, hospital or other health agency. The maximum value of each grant awarded will be €20,000 for one year.
