De Montfort acts on gas in rented flats

De Montfort University has warned landlords that they will be banned from the housing list if their property has not been checked for carbon monoxide.

The warning follows concern from gas engineers who say they have detected the presence of carbon monoxide in student accommodation in Leicester.
