Provides support for experienced investigators (full professor or equivalent) conducting neurobiological research. A one-year award of $100,000 is provided for established scientists pursuing innovative projects in diverse areas of neurobiological research.
The programme supports basic and/or clinical investigators. Research must be relevant to schizophrenia, major affective disorders or other serious mental illnesses including research with bipolar disorders, borderline disorders with depression and suicide, and research with children.
Applications will not be accepted prior to April 1, 2002.
