A new project will look at how languages are taught in schools in order to improve teacher training. The University of Wolverhampton's Language Networks for Excellence is part of a consortium involved in a project commissioned by the Training and Development Agency to develop a long-term strategy for language teaching in schools. The other members of the consortium are the Institute of Education, University of London, the University of Sheffield's department of educational studies and the Association for Language Learning.
