Who's in, who's out

NAPIER

Clive Mulholland , dean of Ulster University's Institute of Lifelong Learning and professor of technology-enhanced learning, will join Edinburgh's Napier University this autumn as vice-principal for academic development.

Professor Mulholland said: "I'm looking forward to the opportunity to develop Napier as a university that is really fit for the 21st century. We need universities that are very flexible and innovative without losing their core values."

IN

Peter Strike , dean of Napier's faculty of health and life sciences, has been appointed vice-principal for research, commercialisation and knowledge transfer.

Peter Easy , vice-principal for academic quality and customer service at Gloucestershire University, has been appointed vice-principal of academic quality and customer service.

Lesley Robertson takes over as management development facilitator, having been talent manager with HBOS in Edinburgh.

OUT

Roger Cook , Napier's head of planning, moves to Paisley University as director of planning.

Patricia Peattie , assistant principal, has retired.

Liz McCormick , head of marketing and communications at Napier's Business School, has left to pursue a writing career in London.
