Imperial College London, long noted for its chequered record on promoting healthy working practices, has produced a glossy new pamphlet for its overworked and exhausted staff. Perusing Job Families , the Diary half expected to encounter guidelines on the work-life balance. Instead, the brochure outlined how different jobs are to be grouped into different "families" - thus presenting staff with the impression of having a home life while at work.
