The American Association of University Professors has condemned the University of South Florida for "serious professional injury" to sacked computer science Professor Sami Al-Arian, who faces terrorism charges arising from links with Palestinian organisations.
Before his arrest, Professor Al-Arian was suspended for 18 months. The AUPP is to reconsider blacklisting the university for failing to observe due process.
