Wales, Lampeter/Trinity College - Bigger and better

A £14.3 million grant to help two Welsh universities provide better facilities after they merge in July 2010 has been put up by the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales. A spokesman for the University of Wales, Lampeter and Trinity University College said the award would ensure that the new University of Wales Trinity Saint David "can respond to the economic and social needs of Wales, and strengthen existing academic areas".
