Visits to the European University Inst. Library, Florence

The EUI Library invites applications from PhD candidates and post-doctoral researchers, for one-month paid research missions to Florence. The EUI's academic disciplines are: Law; Political and Social Sciences; Economics, History and European Studies.

The EUSSIRF initiative is now issuing its fourth call for research proposals. Applicants must be a citizen of an EU or an Associated State AND working in an EU or an Associated State.

EUSSIRF provides the opportunity for European researchers in the social sciences to gain access to the collections, resources and services of its library. Short-term research visits usually lasting one month, will benefit from:
- a substantial financial contribution toward travel and living expenses (up to 1800 Euros)
- help with finding local accomodation
- expert assistance in exploiting the EUI's collections and resources
- training in new research technologies.
