Scholarships for overseas students studying at the University of Warwick will be provided following a deal with a global bank. Santander Universities, part of Banco Santander, which owns Abbey National, has struck a three-year deal with Warwick to provide a number of packages for students. Among them will be scholarships for postgraduate students from Spanish-speaking countries, a grant to support research and study visits abroad by Warwick academics and students, and the creation of three visiting fellowships at Warwick. In addition Santander will fund two scholarships for health professionals from Chile to attend courses at Warwick's Medical School.
