Decisions on the cost-effectiveness of new medical treatments and technologies are to be informed by an assessment team at the University of Warwick. Warwick Evidence, one of three new technology assessment review teams across the UK, will provide information to the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence to help it make informed recommendations to the NHS on drugs, devices and diagnostics. The multidisciplinary team, which has received £2.6 million in funding, will be led by Aileen Clarke and Paul Sutcliffe of Warwick Medical School.
