Plans for a new student complex in the centre of Paisley have been unveiled. The £13.6 million student halls development, housing 340 students in the heart of the town, forms the latest part of a £250 million overhaul of the University of the West of Scotland's estate, which will also involve a new £70 million Ayr campus and an upgrade of classrooms and IT provision across all sites. The complex, to be built on the site of an existing university car park, will house students from September 2012.
