An employee of the University of Northampton has been rewarded for his exceptional contribution to the welfare of its students. James Pope, head of student services, was presented with the university's annual Court Award, which has been given every year since 1995 to the member of staff deemed to have made the most significant impact. The university said Mr Pope "epitomised all that the university strives to be: learner-centred, supportive and professional".
