A new £35 million Health Biomedical Research Centre is to be established at Manchester. The centre will be run by a partnership led by the Central Manchester and Manchester Children's University Hospitals NHS Trust and the University of Manchester. It will include projects to aid the understanding of health, development and disease, and will create over 100 new jobs.
