Six London universities are to launch a new project that will explore how students, teachers, administrators and researchers can use online collaborative tools to work together. The University of London colleges that are collectively known as the Bloomsbury Colleges - the Royal Veterinary College, Birkbeck College, the Institute of Education, the School of Pharmacy, the School of Oriental and African Studies and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine - have been awarded £195,000 by the Joint Information Systems Committee to explore the use of online document creation tools.
