University of Lincoln - Mise en place, now on line

A £3.5 million centre for food manufacturing has opened at the University of Lincoln's Holbeach campus. The centre will provide a "training factory" for people in the food industry, with research also being done on packaging and automation for the sector. Several food companies based in the region have helped set up the facility, which will offer training that ranges from bespoke short courses to degree programmes.
