A new School of Engineering is to be created at the University of Lincoln. The Centre of Excellence, which is supported by a £4.3m grant from the Higher Education Funding Council for England, will be underpinned by an engineering partnership between Lincoln and Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery. The centre will forge close links with local colleges and schools.
