University of Leeds - Arthritic agenda

An academic has called for arthritis and related conditions to receive greater political recognition. Paul Emery, Arthritis Research Campaign professor of rheumatology and head of musculoskeletal medicine (academic) at the Institute of Molecular Medicine at the University of Leeds, has been elected president of the European League Against Rheumatism. Professor Emery said that he intends to use the position to "move musculoskeletal conditions up the political agenda".
