University of Hull - Computer science courts women

A new joint honours degree that will cover psychology and computer science has been launched by the University of Hull. The course, which will start next September, is part of an effort to encourage more women to go into an industry where they are underrepresented. Applicant figures from the Universities and Colleges Admission Service show that computer science courses still attract far more men than women.
