Letters penned by a former prime minister and the wife of a late US president have received their first public airing at the University of Cambridge. The correspondence between Margaret Thatcher and Nancy Reagan, covered at a conference titled "The Cold War and Its Legacy", documents the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of communism. The conference was held at Cambridge's Churchill Archive Centre last week.
