The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors is funding an investigation of how surveying and built-environment education should adapt to meet the needs of industry over the next two decades. The £30,000 project, which will look at student intakes and staff profiles, is a joint venture between the University of Aberdeen and The Robert Gordon University. Richard Laing of RGU's Scott Sutherland School of Architecture and Built Environment said the two universities had combined experience of teaching and research across a wide range of disciplines, including construction, engineering, planning and property investment.
