The Foundation makes grants in the areas of the environment and population. The main program components are:
Protection of water and reduction of toxic impacts on the environment
Improved air quality through promotion of energy efficiency and renewables and improved transportation policies and practices
Protection of biodiversity through habitat preservation
Development and implementation of sound, equitable practices and policies designed to reduce population growth rates
