Short business courses have been designed by Teesside University to help the staff of Middlesbrough Football Club's Enterprise Academy, which teaches gifted but socially excluded teenagers from Tees Valley, Durham and North Yorkshire. The teaching staff, most from sporting backgrounds, have asked for help after identifying their academic shortcomings.
