Technology Development Research Initiative - Call 2

BBSRC, in partnership with EPSRC, has established a Technology Development Research Initiative (TDRI). The aim of the TDRI is to develop new technologies for the biological sciences and adapt technologies used in other disciplines to biology. This is an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary area and the involvement of engineers, mathematicians and physical scientists, working in partnership with biologists, is positively encouraged. This is the TDRI’s second call for proposals. Funds of up to £7.5M (approx) are available subject to the quality of the proposals received. This includes £6M from BBSRC and approximately £1.5M from EPSRC’s Life Sciences Interface (LSI) Programme.
