The University of Dundee has awarded two lecturers its honorary graduates award for innovative teaching. Allan Jones, of the department of biological sciences, was commended for his Internet-based learning centre for biology students. He shares the award with Margaret McCarey, senior lecturer in midwifery, for a shared teaching programme which brings together medical and midwifery students to learn about labour and delivery.
