Short and sweet

Students at the University of Turin will soon be able to receive automatic messages on their cellphones giving details of scheduling of oral and written exams. They will also be able to register to sit exams and be informed of their results.

Under the project, set up jointly by Turin University and TIM, Italy's largest mobile telephone provider, students will be able to register for the short messaging service through the university website simply by giving their telephone number and their student serial number.
