Scholar Research Programme

In January 1995, The EJLB Foundation established a Scholar Research Programme in order to provide outstanding young researchers with an opportunity to launch their scientific careers. Three grants of $350,000 each are awarded every year to young scientists who have earned an M.D. and/or a Ph.D. degree, have completed their post-graduate training and have been admitted in the preceding seven years as faculty members of a leading university or affiliated non-profit research centre. All research under the terms of this Programme is to be carried out exclusively at Canadian universities or affiliated non-profit research centres.
