Sartorial triumph for academe

Congratulations to Robert Gordon University's Aberdeen Centre for Trauma Research, which has raised more than £8,000 from a charity dinner for an ambulance to help those still suffering as a result of the Pakistan Kashmir earthquake.

Peep was pleasantly surprised to find out that the dinner had been a black-tie event. Then again it was also an opportunity to meet the cast of the ITV soap Emmerdale , including the Dingles, the fictitious family whose scruffiness makes the average lecturer look like a fashion icon.
