Research Grants

Deadline: 01/07/2002

June 5, 2002

The aim of the CCFA is to stimulate and encourage innovative research in the basic biomedical and clinical sciences, which is likely to increase understanding of the etiology, pathogenesis, therapy, and prevention of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis (collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease or IBD).

Research grants provide funds to help established investigators generate sufficient data and become competitive for funds from other sources. Maximum award is $80,000 direct cost per year for up to two years; indirect cost of 15% of direct cost (or $12,000, whichever is less) is allowable. Eligibility is not restricted by citizenship or geographically.
