President's Fund short research visits

Three kinds of grants for younger members of the Society are available from the President's Fund. It provides small grants to assist towards travel worldwide to present work at a scientific meeting or attend an approved course (including GRADschools in the UK). Larger awards are available to those making a short research visit to another laboratory. Applicants must be resident and registered for a PhD in a European Union country. Applications will also be considered from members in their first postdoctoral position (in an EU country), in cases where there is exceptional need. Funds are limited so early application is advised.
