The Trust's bioarchaeology schemes are potentially of interest to scientists, archaeologists and historians. For the purpose of these awards, bioarchaeology is defined as "the history of human disease, health and medical treatment in the context of human evolution and adaptation as evidenced in the archaeological record".
Postdoctoral Research Fellowships aim to support hypothesis-driven research in bioarchaeological science by providing awards to post-doctoral fellows proposing to work in supportive academic environments.
