Poor on all counts

It is difficult to know whether to recommend that Bournemouth University improve its literacy or its numeracy.

Last week the university launched its campus-based WorkBank, which aims to match students to part-time jobs that will boost their career prospects, under the slogan "work is not a four-letter word".
