Heidelberg University is inviting nominations for the 'Lautenschläger research prize' from top international researchers from all disciplines who have collaborated with the university.
The prize is open to researchers working in all scientific fields - the natural sciences, and medicine as well as the humanities and social sciences. Both applied and basic research is eligible for the prize.
The jury comprises renowned scientists and representatives from well known research organisations, including the President of the Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung, and the scientific director of the European molecular biology laboratory.
The prize takes its name from Heidelberg University's honorary patron and founder of the MLP company, Manfred Lautenschläger.
